Our skin ages over time due to sun exposure and decreased production of collagen. These factors cause deterioration in the skin tone and texture. Although many different treatments claim to rejuvenate your skin, it has been proven that IPL rejuvenation treatment is one of the most effective modern methods available.

Your skin will appear fresher, rejuvenated and younger-looking even after just a few treatments. Visible results can be dramatic with the increased collagen production toning and improving the elasticity of your skin. IPL is effective in itself but a combination of treatments could enhance results further.

Regular treatments keep skin looking young and fresh. We also recommend a top-up treatment once or twice a year to maintain your rejuvenated skin. Around 3 to 6 treatments at 5 week intervals is usually required.

IPL Treatment - Safe, Effective and Affordable but how does it work?

The AW3® treatment works by directing well-controlled pulses of light into the upper skin layer. The light is absorbed by two of the body’s own natural chemicals – melanin in the pigmented areas and haemoglobin in the red blood. Both these pigments convert the light energy into heat. This heat is used to destroy the parts of the cells in which the melanin is stored, and to damage the walls of the vessels supplying blood to the areas where vascular damage is seen. This technique has the name “Selective Photothermolysis”.

The visible light produced by the AW3® systems are carefully controlled to produce the correct pulse length and right amount of energy to destroy the targets without damaging surrounding tissues.

The AW3® Skin Rejuvenation system will treat diffuse redness and pigmented disorders caused by sun-damage and also improve the skin texture.The AW3® Rejuvenation procedure will additionally treat larger (individually visible vessels) telangiectasias.

Both Photo Rejuvenation and Skin Rejuvenation are quick and simple procedures that do not interfere with your normal daily routine. Both are aimed at repairing sun-damage found on the face, neck chest and hands.
